Ohio State University leadership featured in women’s entrepreneurship panel

Caroline Crisafulli, director of entrepreneurial education at the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, has been selected as a panelist for the Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium.

Caroline Crisafulli, director of entrepreneurial education at the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, has been selected as a panelist for theUnited States Patent and Trademark Office's Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium.  The Webinar is scheduled for Wednesday March 15, 3:50-4:30 p.m.  The discussion will cover strategies that helped women innovators overcome challenges in their fields, how to give back and be a mentor, where to find mentors, and the ways that mentorship brings growth and opportunities.

“I’m really honored to be asked to share my experiences,” Crisafulli said.  “It is validating to see that the work we are doing at Ohio State is creating an impact.”

The panel discussion will also include Ines Hernandez, U.S. Department of Commerce Counselor for Equity, Latonya Garth, founder and CEO of The Imagine Mentoring Program, and Bridget Weston, CEO of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) Association.

“The reason for this symposium is to put role models out there for all women,” Crisafulli said. “If you see people who have look like you and have similar experiences, it opens doors.”
