Student Startups Shine: Keenan Center Celebrates Entrepreneurial Achievements

The Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship celebrated the successful completion of the President’s Buckeye Accelerator’s second cohort. The event highlighted student-led startups and the Center’s commitment to nurturing future business leaders.

"We take immense pride in the exceptional accomplishments demonstrated by the students who participated in the second cohort of the President’s Buckeye Accelerator.” Said Cheryl Turnbull, senior director for the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship. “It is inspiring to witness their drive, growth, and relentless pursuit of excellence.”

Six student startups—Aleph Innovations, Bazaar Collaborative, formerly Artisen Textiles, Insiderviz, PROSscored, SmileChild, and Solstice Outreach, discussed their journey through the program, the challenges they faced along the way, and their plans for the future.

The Aleph Innovations team, who are using artificial intelligence to give more people access to quality healthcare and remove biases in medicine, spoke about how PBA helped them grow their company. Today, they have strategic partnerships with ten hospitals.

“It has been a great opportunity and a really fantastic ride,” said Daniel Tcheurekdjian, founder and CEO of Aleph Innovations. “Landing our first clients was a really inspiring moment that showed us our technology is going somewhere and will be able to benefit people’s lives.”

Bazaar Collaborative, taken  on several impactful projects, including designs for hotels and Air bnb’s, and the Blackwell Inn on Ohio State’s Campus.  “I have received so many resources and mentorship every step of the way, “said Sarah Hollock, founder and CEO of Bazaar Collaborative. “Being in the entrepreneurial community is so inspiring. All of the other cohort members were incredible.”
